"When I look back on my 75 years of life, from the freedom movement to today's co-operative movement, I am definitely happy with whatever 'WE' have been able to do for the betterment of society, no matter how small.

I have deliberately planned the word 'WE '.

Because I have used it in a communal sense.

People gave me an opportunity to work not only at taluka, district and state but also at the National level.

In Sangamner taluka, the work of development through the cooperative movement was the result of collective efforts.

New institutions were established, new avenues of development were opened.

This alchemy happened only through the wonderful power of co-operative movement.

This immense work of development has come about through the sacrifices and hard work of countless colleagues in the political, social and academic fields. "

" माझ्या ७५ वर्षांच्या जीवनप्रवासाचे मी जेव्हा अवलोकन करतो तेव्हा स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीपासून ते आजच्या सहकारी चळवळीच्या माध्यमातून समाजाच्या भल्यासाठी अल्पस्वल्प प्रमाणात का होईना, जे काही 'आपण' करू शकलो त्याचा मला निश्चित आनंद होतो. 'आपण' हा शब्द मी जाणीवपूर्वक योजला आहे. कारण तो मी समुदायवाचक अर्थाने वापरला आहे. जनतेने मला तालुका, जिल्हा, राज्य इतकेच नव्हे तर राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर कार्य करण्याची संधी दिली. संगमनेर तालुक्यात सहकारी चळवळीच्या माध्यमातून विकासाचे जे काम उभे राहिले ते सामूहिक प्रयत्नांच्या परिपाकातूनच. नव्या नव्या संस्था उभ्या राहिल्या, विकासाची नवनवीन दालने खुली झाली.सहकाराच्या अद्भुत शक्तीतूनच ही किमया घडून आली.

माझ्या राजकीय, सामाजिक, शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रांतील अगणित सहकाऱ्यांच्या त्यागातून आणि परिश्रमांतून हे विकासाचे प्रचंड काम उभे राहिले. "
