El Kab is an Upper Egyptian site on the east bank of the Nile at the mouth of the Wadi Hillal, about 80 kilometers south of Luxor. It's been a popular archeological and historical research site since the 19th century. The author of this book, James Edward Quibell, was a British egyptologist who spent a lot of time exploring the ancient city. This book presents the results of his findings and makes one of the first exhaustive materials on the city's sites and value.
