Em Cheppayee Vedhaalu (ఏం చెప్పాయి వేదాలు)

India is the land of diversity. There are a lot of cultures, rituals, and traditions that the people of the country follow. Hindus consider Vedas and Upanishads as divine writings. Even today, Vedas are still relevant in the country. People often quote lines and slokas from Vedas. After getting intrigued with the same and to dig more into the topic, popular writer Ranganayakamma has penned this book in her own unique style. After following multiple translations of 4 Vedas, she has penned her own book. In this book 'Em Cheppayi Vedalu', Ranganayakamma quoted many slokas and added her critical comments to it. More than conveying the meaning of Vedas, Ranganayakamma focused on criticism. భారతదేశం వివిధ సంస్కృతాలకి నెలవు. మరెన్నో సంప్రదాయాలకు చిరునామా. ఎన్నోవేల చరిత్ర గల భారతదేశం లోనే వేదాలు, ఉపనిషత్తులు పుట్టాయి. ఇవాళ్టి రోజున కూడా మనం వేదాల గురించి చర్చించుకుంటూనే ఉన్నాము. అవసరం అయినప్పుడల్లా వేదాల ప్రస్తావనని తీసుకొని వస్తున్నాము. అసలేంటి వేదాలు అనే కుతూహలం తో రచయిత్రి రంగనాయకమ్మ తనదైన శైలి లో నాలుగు వేదాలు (రుగ్వేదం, యజుర్వేదం, సామవేదం, అథర్వవేదం) గురించి విమర్శించారు. నాలుగు వేదాలకి సంబందించిన అనేక అనువాదాలని చదివి అందులో నుంచి తనకి నచ్చినవి, పాఠకులకి తెలియజేయ తలచినవి ఈ పుస్తకరూపం లో మన ముందుకు తీసుకొని వచ్చారు. ఇతరులు అనేక మంది ఇంతకు మునుపు వేదాల గురించి పుస్తకాలు రాసినా, ఈ పుస్తకం లో మాత్రం రంగనాయకమ్మ ఎక్కువగా వేదాలు, వాటిపైన విమర్శల మీదనే దృష్టి సారించారు.
