This beautiful guided meditation is an invitation into loving stillness, led by Sripad Jagannatha Das, a bhakti yogi with over fifty years of dedicated spiritual discipline. Here we are ushered into

the presence of Lord Shiva—Mahadeva, the great god of transformation and inner awakening.

In yogic understanding, Shiva is the divine embodiment of pure consciousness. He represents the primal force that dissolves illusion and reveals the eternal and ever-blissful. You will also encounter Uma—Shiva’s consort of many forms, such as Parvati and Shakti, the Goddess. She is the dynamic life-giving counterpart to Shiva’s great stillness, the internal energy that animates the three worlds. Together, their presence points to the balance of silence and motion, detachment and compassion, transcendence and immanence.

You will also be brought into a beautiful awareness of Ganesh, their son, who guides spiritual aspirants through all inner obstacles. Known as the compassionate guardian of

beginnings, Ganesh's presence is intended to settle the mind and prepare one for deep reflection and transcendence.

The music accompanying this recording is composed and performed by internationally recognized classical musicians Arnab Bhattacharya on the sarod and Nilimesh Chakraborty on tabla. Their music is meant to support mental clarity, regulate breath, and evoke the deep meditative consciousness of the yogic path.
