Most Valuable

Young Amar'e Stoudemire is back in the all-star basketball adventure based on the NBA sensation's own life!

Amar'e's idol, Overtime Tanner, plans the biggest streetball tournament every year. But when Overtime gets hurt during a basketball game, he can't make the arrangements in time. So Amar'e and his friends help set the tournament up. On top of that, each group of Amar'e's friends wants him to play for their team and he's torn on what to do. Planning a tournament is a lot more work than playing in one. Will Amar'e's hard work pay off?

Based on the life of All-Star NBA sensation Amar'e Stoudemire, who overcame many obstacles to become one of the most popular athletes of today, this is "a series of chapter books that celebrate sports, smarts and friendship . . . Amar'e is a likable protagonist" (Kirkus Reviews).
