Side Upper is a journey through the various Indias that exist within our idea of India. Not all these Indias find a voice in our mainstream discourse today as we try and homogenise that which cannot be homogenised. From a prostitute in Varanasi influencing the biggest political upheaval UP has seen in many years, to a freshly minted MBA setting out to solve the Northeast’s racial problem.
