#1 I was supposed to die. I was a superpreemie, and I was allergic to everything. I couldn’t eat anything without barfing it up. I was always scared growing up because I was so fragile.

#2 I was born in Michigan. My parents had the idea of moving to Arizona, because my dad wanted to cheat on my mom in a different state. My mom had to go out and get two jobs. I never noticed I was poor, because I was a kid.

#3 I was the shortest and poorest kid in my class, and I had the worst school supplies. I was constantly bullied because of it.

#4 I had a way with the ladies because I was a nerd. I was also introduced to coin collecting, chess, and guns by my mom’s new husband, Dr. Howard P. Hyde. I struggled through an elective German class because he was a member of Mensa and had gone to Duke.
