Summary of Ryan Green's Sinclair

#1 After the Second World War, Angus Sinclair was born in 1945. His family lived in Glasgow, and his father had been getting more and more tired over the course of the last few months, until he died of chronic leukaemia two years later. Angus was bullied in school for being the smallest and slowest kid in class.

#2 When he became a teenager, he began to go through the usual changes that puberty brought, but when his sexual appetites began to develop, they had no healthy outlet. He became fixated on sex as a cure-all for his unhappy and unsatisfying life.

#3 Angus began committing crimes at the age of 13, and while the police would occasionally catch him and give him a beating, he was never charged or convicted for any of his crimes. He eventually got a job as a van boy and began contributing to the household income.

#4 Angus was a teenager who had committed a disgusting crime. He was sentenced to three years on parole, with any further offences resulting in jail time. He returned home, returned to his job, and returned to the strange equilibrium of his solitary life.
