Teaching in a World of Violent Extremism

Violent extremism is not new, but we have witnessed its rise to the point that it has become a defining issue of our time. We cannot brush it aside any longer: it characterizes who we are as a people and as a global society. Why is violent extremism rising? What are its drivers and triggers?
