The Covid Murders begins with a dead body: an unfortunate patient who dies on an operating room table in a suburban Nashville, Tennessee hospital. Thomas Baker’s open-heart surgery goes wrong, unleashing forces inside the hospital and out that threaten the public’s health. It matters that Thomas Baker is a “very important person” in the community.

Our story’s central hero, Irv Tinsley, is brought into the investigation of Baker’s death through his friendship with the Hospital's new administrator.
