Sometimes, prayer only goes so far. Rising again requires Something Greater. Sage Maddox has been turned. Determined to penetrate Nero's inner circle on an assassination mission, he has fallen prey to the sadistic Emperor's brainwashing, and time is running out.

Meanwhile, Sage's father, Colonel Thomas Drexler, and Darius, the former High Vassal to Emperor Nero, prepare to unmask the totalitarian despot in a public display at the Gloriosa Revelatio.
