'So,' Peter began, 'magic is real... and you think I could do it. Why?'

Peter Rutherford had just wanted to go for a walk and get to sleep.

Instead, he found himself dragged into a war which had been raging for millennia, in which all he could hope to do was maintain the status quo. Until, that is, he conceived of a way to end the war, once and for all.
