The Tigerman

Brendan, a quiet trainee accountant, naively agrees to carry a suitcase for Aftab, his boss, who has invited him to his wedding in India. He is plunged into the strange feudal world of a remote palace in rural India, together with, smuggled currency, man-eating tigers and arranged marriages. When he realises that Amaal and Benita are being forced into marriages, to frustrate this, he offers to marry them and take them to England where he can set them free to make their own lives. A group of 'honour killers' seek his death and that of the two women. He has to escape from India. And back in London the criminals from whom Aftab stole the money Brendan unknowingly took to India, are awaiting his return. A tale of romance and suspense based in rural India and cosmopolitan London.
