What if the world was ending and you discover the Amish were ancient technological beings that recivilize the Earth every time we screwed it up, simply hiding in the background, waiting for that day?

Thomas, a regular civilian, is thrown into a wild set of circumstances with the Amish where nothing makes sense: the world is ending, the Amish are the most technologically advanced beings on the planet, and he has to protect his daughter. What choice does he have? Will he become part of the secret society of the Amish or will he find his own way?

This series explores what it means to be human using various character developments of personality types and perspectives, paired with current, modern technologies and taking them just a step, or several steps, further to consider how people will react to the upcoming challenges that technology brings. Who’s right and who’s wrong? That’s for you, as the reader, to decide. There are twists throughout the plot to keep you guessing.

About the Author

Andy Alman is a former police officer and current educator living in rural Arkansas with his family where they run a small homestead. His love of reading and studying, pretty much everything including the local Amish community, led to the conception of the main idea behind his first novel, Thomish.
