ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

In "Sky in the Deep" by Adrienne Young, Eelyn, an Aska warrior, finds her world irrevocably changed when she is captured by the Riki, her people's enemies. As she navigates their world, Eelyn begins to question the deeply ingrained prejudices that have fueled the Aska-Riki conflict for generations.

 

Torn between her loyalty to her clan and her growing connection to the Riki, especially her resurrected brother Iri and the fierce warrior Fiske, Eelyn grapples with complex issues of family, identity, and the possibility of peace.
