Stefan Zweig

Stefan Zweig was born on November 28, 1881, in Vienna and is one of the most important European authors of the first half of the 20th century. Jewish, he was persecuted by the Nazis and forced into exile. His final residence was in Brazil, where he met a tragic end. A versatile writer, Zweig dedicated himself to almost all literary activities but became famous mainly for his novellas, many of which were translated into various languages ​​and adapted for the theater and cinema.
