April Fool's Alibi

In the festive village of Holiday Junction, April Fool’s Day takes a sinister turn when a notorious troublemaker is found dead after a heated altercation.

Violet Rhinehammer, sharp-witted journalist for the Junction Journal, is knee-deep in covering the town’s Fool’s Festival when a palm reader’s cryptic prophecy shakes her to the core. The tension only rises at a surprise party for her boyfriend, Darren, where an argument with a rowdy bar regular leads to a shocking discovery: the man from the party is dead, and suspicions swirl.

As Violet teams up with Darren—freshly minted as a lawyer—to unravel the truth, they uncover a tangled web of secrets in their small, festive town. With a cast of eccentric suspects and motives as layered as an April Fool’s prank, Violet must work quickly to crack the case before the killer strikes again.

This charming and utterly addictive cozy mystery will keep you guessing until the very end.

Fans of Kate Carlisle, Maddie Day, and Krista Davis will love April Fool’s Alibi, a delightful whodunit wrapped in small-town charm and suspense.
