Compromised Undercover

When Officer Lexie Sarconi transferred out of vice, she never thought they'd send her back, especially after making detective and finding a new home with the gangs unit. But now she's walking the streets in a pair of fishnets and a miniskirt. Detective Michael Riley's been sent on a deep cover assignment that he can't or won't tell her about. Not only is she worried about Riley's safety, but she's also worried about their relationship.

The setback's supposed to be temporary. So why is Riley meeting his ex in a trashy hotel? Lexie can't think about that now. The entire police department has been tasked with cracking down on crime, and the john she just arrested doesn't exist, at least not on paper.
