Death Makes A Mistake

In Death Makes A Mistake, P. F. Costello delivers a witty, noir-tinged comedy of errors that follows the hapless Reggie Van Fiddler as he stumbles into a most unfortunate appointment—with Death himself. Reggie, a cocktail-loving bon vivant with a knack for bad timing, finds his leisurely day at the club disrupted by the unsettling presence of Mr. Demise, a small, impeccably dressed man claiming to be Death’s emissary.

What follows is a hilarious series of misadventures as Reggie, more annoyed than afraid, scrambles to outwit his unwanted visitor. But as it turns out, even Death can have an off day. Between bureaucratic blunders, misplaced assignment books, and one too many martinis, Mr. Demise proves himself less an ominous specter and more a bumbling rookie on his first job.

With a delightful mix of supernatural satire and detective pulp charm, Death Makes A Mistake is a fast-paced romp through life, death, and the perils of poor paperwork.

Perfect for fans of vintage noir comedies, Douglas Adams-style dark humor, and anyone who enjoys watching Death get flustered.
