Sir Nigel

The Story of One Medieval English Hero

“Perchance you shall, fair sir," said Nigel, "for all that I have seen of you fills me with this desire to go further with you. It is in my mind that we might turn this thing to profit and to honour, for when Sir Robert has spoken to you, I am free to do with you as I will.” - Arthur Conan Doyle, Sir Nigel

Nigel Loring is at a crossroads: his family was ravished by the Black Death and now the local monks have set their eyes on his family’s welfare. To make a name for himself, he joins the army of King Edward III of England. Can he restore the family’s pride and wealth?
