The Coming Fire

First came the darkness. Then the storm. Now it's time to face the fire. Don't miss this hotly-anticipated read from the author who brought you the Sunday Times Thriller of the Year The Coming Darkness. Following a fighter jet crash in the Haitian hinterland, special agent Alex Lamarque is taken captive by a violent gang, the lone authority in this lawless territory. His only allies are busy on the other side of the world, facing a crescendo of dangers: the AI viruses crippling the digital state; the breakdown of law and order; and some unexpected, terrifying news from a Paris observatory. With no hope of rescue, Alex must take on his greatest challenge entirely alone. Survival will take every bit of strength he has. Praise for Greg Mosse "Equally good at derring-do and dialogue… Mosse displays admirable audacity." – THE TIMES "Absorbing and intricately plotted." – THE TELEGRAPH "A clever, fast-paced thriller with incredible world building… an impressive debut with a cinematic narrative style waiting to be adapted for the screen." – THE INDEPENDENT "Superb – there's an ominous drumbeat throughout, and pace and tension, and a subtle and scarily plausible dystopia – and above all there's main character Alex Lamarque, who could be one of the greats. Greg Mosse writes like John Le Carré's hip grandson." – LEE CHILD

LEE CHILD "This is exactly the sort of big, meaty, ambitious thriller that the market needs. I haven't read a book like this since I Am Pilgrim." – ANTHONY HOROWITZ
