The Decision

Several millennia in the future, humanity has colonized the cosmos. Dozens of worlds in the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies live in peace united under one banner: that of H-Star, The Human Stellar Territories and Republics.

But that peace and unity are now under threat from a recently encountered aggressive and warlike alien species in the Andromeda Galaxy, known as the Sentillians. H-Star is thrown into chaos when the senators representing the human worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy suddenly proclaim that they are renouncing their allegiance and will join the Sentillian Empire. There are only two choices: let this happen or engage in a full-scale war with the powerful Sentillians. After a tie vote on the matter in the senate of the republics, the decision falls to one man: the Chancellor of H-Star, Catalind Carnusti. What decision will Carnusti make and what will the fallout be?

About the Author

Marc Stephan lives with his wife in Oklahoma with their gaggle of cats. Marc is a project manager in the payroll industry. He likes to swim, golf, and work on the yard. Marc has published one other book, an Agatha Christie-type murder-mystery set in Ancient Rome called The Parthian Dagger.
