ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

"The Girl Who Drank the Moon" by Kelly Barnhill is an epic fantasy novel that tells the story of a young girl named Luna, who is accidentally enmagicked by a witch. In the Protectorate, a baby is left every year as a sacrifice to the witch. The witch, Xan, rescues those babies and find a home for them. As Luna grows, her magical powers begin to surface, leading Xan to isolate Luna's magic.
