Assisted by her loyal knitting group and the handsome sheep farmer who supplies her wool, Wooly uncovers a tangled web involving yarn smuggling, rare breed sheep theft, and a counterfeit yarn operation. From suspicious dye lots that reveal chemical anomalies to fiber content that doesn't match the label, every skein tells a story. But when Wooly discovers the victim was blackmailing local crafters about their yarn stash secrets and pattern thefts, she realizes the killer is protecting a scheme more twisted than any cable knit. With the annual Fiber Festival approaching and the real culprit still spinning lies, Wooly must weave together the clues before her own thread gets permanently cut.
