Boring and absolutely nothing special. It reminds me of an average romcom movie (the movie wasn’t that great either) but this plot is just not interesting in written form - not much happens aside from the subtle and one-dimensional development of the enemies-to-lovers theme.

An easy to listen and enjoyable story. Almost no side plots but that doesn't impact the overall rating.

That book gave me inspiration and good vibes, while reading it. Actually I read it at my work, but I didn't tell to my colleges, because they will beat my ass with laugh.

I'm a huge fan of the enemies to lovers trope but I wish we got a glimpse of Lucy preparing for the presentation more than the coffee date with Danny, and I wish there was at least an epilogue to let us know whether she made it or not because it seemed kind of important. I wanted to see her properly introduce Josh to her family, them visiting the farm together, a little bit more drama around Danny and jealous Josh, a lot more of jealous Lucy. It's definitely not the best I've read (or listened to).

We have to judge a book by its genre, so to summarize - this is an easy read, light, a feel-good type. There’s no drama, there’s no side plot, just the enemies-to-lovers story quickly unraveling itself and then building on until it becomes full-on romantic with a lot more intimacy. It’s nice to listen to something like that from time to time and just turn your brain off for the time being. I wouldn’t recommend the movie - they tried, but quite unsuccessfully imo. Frankly speaking they totally butchered the vibe. So maybe stick to this bit here and you will have satisfied your hunger for a light romantic novel.
