Apparitions

In the mystical backdrop of the Pyrenees, young Blanca’s life takes a dramatic turn when she experiences a divine apparition of the Virgin Mary. Set in the turbulent 1930s Basque Country, Apparitions intertwines historical events with spiritual mysticism, as Blanca is chosen to deliver a message of hope amidst impending doom. As political tensions rise and the threat of war looms, Blanca must navigate her newfound role while grappling with the weight of her visions. Her journey is one of faith, family, and the struggle to do what is right in a world where the lines between reality and the supernatural blur. Echeverria crafts a poignant narrative that delves deep into the intersection of religion, tradition, and the personal challenges of a young girl thrust into extraordinary circumstances. Will Blanca be able to heed the Blessed Mother’s call and protect her loved ones, or will the darkness of war consume them all? Apparitions is a compelling tale of courage, political awakening, and the enduring power of belief.
