Fiona, better known as eco-influencer @FoliageFifi, hasn't left her apartment since her boyfriend, Ed, died. But when Ed's favourite houseplant randomly appears on her doorstep with an anonymous note, Fiona takes this as a sign. Pouring Ed's ashes into the soil, she finds the plant has vibrantly flowered. And can... talk? There's only one logical explanation: Ed is back. This time as a houseplant.

Intent on keeping Ed alive, and making up for her past mistakes, Fiona slowly ventures back out into a world on the verge of a climate crisis. With the plant's voice and budding flowers acting as her guiding compass, Fiona is not only urged towards people and places that left her scarred, but also finds herself at the heart of a life-or-death activist plot.
