Mary Hill was driving her daughter, Amy, and two friends, Carrie Brown and Zak Rockwell, when her car crashed into a tree. Amy and Carrie died and Zak suffered brain injuries. Hill claimed she lost control when her car sped up on its own, but investigators suspected that Hill was driving recklessly and charged with vehicular homicide and manslaughter. “48 Hours" Correspondent Peter Van Sant reports.

On November 13, 1996, Sandra Orellana was on a business trip with her boss, Robert Salazar, when she went over the balcony at her hotel and died. Salazar reluctantly admitted to police about having indiscretions with Sandra, but insisted her death wasn't his fault. He was totally caught off guard when, years later, police came to arrest him for murder. “48 Hours" Correspondent Bill Lagattuta reports.

Police later discovered Doris was shot to death in her home in what appeared to be a hit-style murder.
