5-year-old A’Marie Jones of Cleveland, Ohio, was found brutally beaten, sexually assaulted, and nearly killed after a group of boys, aged 8, 9, and 10, allegedly lured her into a field and assaulted her. Now, her mother is reaching out for help, claiming that some of the boys can't be prosecuted due to their ages, and there have been no arrests.

Megan Trussell, an 18-year-old University of Colorado Boulder student, was reported missing on February 12, 2025 after last being seen leaving her dorm on February 9. Her body was found just a few days later in remote area near Boulder Canyon, and after an investigation, the Boulder County Coroner’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office ruled her death a suicide. Though Megan's toxicology reports show medications had been in her system at the time of death, the rest of her autopsy tells a chilling story, and her family is fighting to get her case reopened.

In 1992, the remains of a woman were discovered in north Houston, Texas. For 33 years, she was known only as a Jane Doe. Today, through forensic genetic genealogy, she has finally been identified as Joann Zamora, a mother of six.

S3 Ep345: Coffee and Community Cracks A Cold Case

On the morning of October 12, 2013, 23-year-old Army veteran Christian Griggs went to his in-laws’ property in Angier, North Carolina to pick up his young daughter, Jaden. At 10:54 a.m., he called his father Tony to say that his father-in-law, Reverend Pat Chisenhall, was yelling at him while his estranged wife Katie hid inside the house. Six minutes later, at 11:00 a.m., Tony arrived at the Chisenhall home to find his son lying face-down, bleeding and unresponsive. Pat had shot him six times with a .22 rifle. Once in the abdomen, once on the top of his left shoulder, and four times in the back.

Christian was rushed to the hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead. As his family struggled to process the sudden loss, detectives began piecing together what had happened that fateful morning. What they uncovered were conflicting accounts, multiple 911 calls, and questions that would haunt the case for years to come.

A decomposed body was discovered on September 8, 2025 in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer d4vd, after the vehicle was impounded following reports of a foul odor. The LA County Medical Examiner later identified the remains as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas who had been missing since April 2024.
