Since we last checked in Craig has traveled to the West Coast for some tour dates. As it appears to become a tradition, he sat down to answer some fan questions. From saying the wrong thing, passive aggressive A.I., white whales, or classic cars, Craig runs it all down for us.

Jet Lag Chit Chat

Tim Sullivan and Craig have known each other for more than 30 years. That means they were both running wild doing stupid things. Then they both got older Tim worked in TV and movies (Alfresco, Sherlock Holmes, Flushed Away, Shrek 4) as Craig went to the US to star in TV and host a late night talk show. 
 
When the world shut down in 2020, Tim found a new passion, writing detective novels. Specifically a series of detective novels featuring the title character George Cross. The books, 8 in total, were first self-published but have since been picked up and published in various different languages. On October 21st his new book, The Dentist will be published by Grove Atlantic. You can order it here.
 
 Craig sits down with his old friend and reminisces of their time growing up, tell some incredible stories about their friendship and how Tim found a new secondary career later in life.

Craig is still on location overseas for work. But he's never been one to let you down, as he taped this episode of the Joy Podcast while having his morning coffee. Meet Nellie McKay, an incredibly talented singer and songwriter. She's released many wonderful albums and has performed with Laurie Anderson, Joan Osborne, Suzanne Vega and the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra. Her role as Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Operaearned her a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance. She was the Senior Producer of The Late Late Show and it was great to catch up and go down the memory lane of the Late night days! She has produced television for CBS, NBC, and PBS, as well as developed and produced podcasts for clients such as Audible, Wondery, iHeart, Disney Music, Universal Music Group, Microsoft, and Sony. She co-founded the award-winning, independent podcast company Treefort Media in 2018 and prior to that, she originated the role of Vice President, Talent Booking at CBS Entertainment. EnJOY!

Meet Jim Jefferies, a wonderful comedian, actor, and writer. You may know him from FX sitcom Legit, the Comedy Central late-night show The Jim Jefferies Show, and The 1% Club. Dr. Maija Cheung is currently a surgeon at Yale University and the Chief Medical Officer for Kids Operating Room – the world’s leading children’s surgery charity. During her residency at Yale, she started working with group that would become Kids Operating Room (KidsOR). She became the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for KidsOR in December 2023 as well as the CMO for the KidsOR commercial subsidiary Global Hospital which develops healthcare infrastructure and solar powered solutions in low-resource settings with all profit going to KidsOR to create capacity for children’s surgery around the world. Dr. Cheung has spearheaded numerous projects aimed at improving healthcare infrastructure, increasing training opportunities for the health workforce, and promoting access to care in underserved areas. She's currently working on two major projects as a part of her work to build operating rooms for children in Ukraine and a collaboration with NASA and American Oxygen to develop new technology for providing oxygen in low resource settings around the world.
