Fighter vs. Writer: Matt Brown REACTS to Fight Fixing Allegations Plus UFC 322 Preview, Picks and Predictions

UFC Vegas 111 happened and despite a number of impressive performances, one can’t help but still feel a little cold after another sterile evening at the APEX.

Regardless, Gabriel Bonfim made the most of his first headlining opportunity, shrugging off a controversial decision win over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson with a brutal second-round knockout of Randy Brown on Saturday. That’s four straight wins now for Bonfim, who eyes a match with Colby Covington as he tries to move closer to a top 10 spot in the always crowded welterweight division.

On an all-new edition of On To the Next One, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Alexander K. Lee discuss what options are actually better for Bonfim, and break down the best and worst moments on the mic at UFC Vegas 111. The UFC returned to the APEX for UFC Vegas 110 on Saturday, but couldn’t escape the weirdness that has plagued recent cards.

This time, it was Ante Delija getting knocked out moments after a bout was stopped and then restarted when Delija poked Waldo Cortes-Acosta in the eyes. The controversy threatened to overshadow Steve Garcia’s outstanding win over David Onama in the main event, but regardless, the UFC has two surging contenders in Garcia and Cortes-Acosta, both of whom have unclear paths to a title opportunity.
