Adil is a passionate runner who fully embraces the physical and mental benefits of getting out for a jog… even if he insists he’s the Mini Metro of running while Jenni is more of a Lexus. From pace to mindset, they compare their running styles, training quirks and what keeps them going on the tougher days.

And of course, Adil has thoughts about Jenni earning her stripes as a true “14-ker”… but you’ll have to listen to hear exactly what he has to say.

This week on RunPod, Jenni meets Sam King - an incredible man who swapped late-night gaming sessions for long-distance runs with a mission that goes far beyond the finish line. 

When Sam’s mum suffered a severe brain injury, his world changed overnight. Out of that heartbreak came an incredible goal: to take on an ultramarathon challenge in her honour and raise funds for Headway UK, the charity supporting people affected by brain injury. 74 Ultra Marathons in 74 Days!

In this conversation, Sam shares how he went from gaming chair to training shoes, what drives him through the toughest miles, and how running became both therapy and tribute. 

His journey is a raw, uplifting reminder of how determination and love can turn pain into purpose.
