Adam Badger (@badgerstrength) is a coach, host of the Talkin’ Fit Podcast, husband, and father. He trains clients both online and in person, and mainly focuses on helping other busy parents lose weight and set a healthy example for their kids.

As a precursor to this conversation, I was a guest on Adam’s podcast a little while back, and you can find that episode here.

This was a fun conversation with a lot of super relevant advice that’s applicable in so many areas. Adam is such a down to earth person that truly understands the difficulties people face, and that comes through so clearly in his advice.

We spent a lot of time talking about how to get out of the trap of comparing yourself to others. This especially applies to fitness, but really to anything. Towards the end Adam laid out the 2 key principles for fitness which is not some grand secret but it’s just so well laid out. There are so many ways to go about getting fit, but all useful approaches use these principles.
