TAP is centered around healing methods, psychological insights, mystery, and the forgotten languages of the soul. My name is Mannah, and my aim here is not necessarily that my questions are answered exactly… but to open them. To let the questions breathe in that inner place where Wholeness can be found. I do this by inviting thought leaders, authors, and healers of our time into honest conversation with me, not holding back my own longings and fears. We are in this together!

I started TAP as a way to speak freely of my own experience and my own interest in different books and philosophies (I was in fact recovering from having done many interviews — in my native language, that is. TAP is the only podcast I’ve released in English). Only a few months in… I realized… I cannot NOT interview… it feels like part of my true nature. This is when TAP evolved into more of a conversational magazine with thought leaders, healers, and authors of our time.

Therapeutic Astrology is not just a blend of healing practices. It is the understanding that trauma therapy and the wisdom of the stars share a common root, cover the same ground, and together can open the hidden landscapes of the psyche. Both are weaker without the other. My guests come from a variety of backgrounds, but somehow their work inspires me and is related to what I work for in this lifetime.

We live in a time of great transition, and I believe we need all wisdom traditions and lived experiences to help our world and our minds heal.

Astrology, in particular, has long been pushed to the margins, often treated as taboo or dismissed as superstition. But to me, astrology is about uncovering the hidden patterns that shape our lives, so we can work with them consciously — just as we do in many trauma and psychotherapies. 

Having the word ASTROLOGY in the name of my podcast is a statement of integrity, and of honoring symbolic ways of knowing. Not all episodes are about astrology, but when I am present, it is always, in some way, part of the conversation.

With TAP, I want to honor astrology, therapy, and the many paths of healing as sacred forces we can tap into, to be guided through existence.

#117 - Shauna Winram - Consciousness and the Phenomenology of Psychosis

Kaedrich Olsen is a seasoned Paranormal Arts Mentor, and in this episode he shares about Sacred Masculinity and how to relate to the modern world through inspiration from Norse mysticism.
 
A small note from me: I trusted my microphone to be on, but it didn’t connect to my computer for some reason, so my audio is less fortunate — I hope you can flow with it!!
 
Tap in to hear some juicy parts about how Kaedrich has been studying Norse mythology, mysticism, and the old belief systems since his teenage years. He discovered the runes and even translated the Poetic Edda himself to understand the Old Norse mindset. The Norse people lived with spirituality as an everyday part of life — what we call the supernatural was simply the invisible part of nature.
 
TAP in as we dive into the topic of the sacred masculine and:
 
-The mature warrior is calm, self-contained, and protects out of love for what’s behind him — family, home, community.
 – The sovereign archetype, or sacred king, holds vision, builds alliances, and uplifts others rather than hoarding power.
 – In Old Norse stories, the best rulers were called “Ring Breakers” and “Haters of Gold” because they gave away wealth to strengthen their people.
 – Not just warriores, but the craftsman, the magician, the sage 
 – Take individual responsibility and choose what truly makes sense to you instead of following the collective mindset
 – The current turmoil in the world is like a collective shadow surfacing, calling us to evolve
 – Loki, the Norse trickster, stirs things up and creates discomfort, but when the dust settles, everyone is better off!!
 – I also get his take on the Vikings tv-series- he in stead recommends “The North Man” and “The Last Kingdom” and shares that Ragnar Lothbrok is “sort of like a King Arthur figure,” likely an “amalgam.”

#116 - Kaedrich Olsen- Sacred Masculinity & Norse Archetypes Beyond the Warrior

Do you know that tension between your imagined life and the "real" one? and at this time do you feel the systems breakdown and the potential "heroes" rising? In this episode, astrologer, writer, and podcaster Adam Sommer helps me tap into the Saturn–Neptune conjunction — a 36-year cycle, yet they have not met in Aries since year 1703. I share my most recent story of feeling disillusioned or we could say that an authority "gave up on me", and that could fit the Saturn-Neptune as well.
 
TAP IN with us as we look at how to avoid its shadow expressions such as victimization martyrdom and escapism, which could take us over, when what goes on just seems too void of purpose.

#112 - Brynja Magnusson - Yin Mysticism - A Hypothesis on the Unknowable and Dark Half of All Things

Welcome to TAP in with Gabrielle Perez, who has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and almost twenty years of astrological practice. Like myself Gabrielle is a professional in both fields of therapy and astrology - which in short is connected by the ability to help people (and ourselves) connect with the unconscious. (Pluto in Scorpio) In this conversation we get to know each other’s work a little bit while also reflecting about the meaning of our current times.
 
We begin by exploring Gabrielle’s journey from mental health counseling to astrological practice - other alternative healing modalities. Back then she had a Uranus on the MC experience and is currently getting to know Pluto transits. We talk about trust as we share a Pisces/Scorpio signature, meaning we have experienced trust-shattering events, and many times realized less control and agency than other might be inclined to. Then soon we go into why bridging therapy/psychology and astrological insight can serve deep healing plus how to navigate the Virgo Pisces eclipse with all the background of shifting outer planets.

I believe the Pluto in Scorpio generation is healing and transmuting that. And because we are doing that work, this Pluto out of bounds cycle has the opportunity to actually bring transformation that raises the vibration of the planet."

Welcome to this rich and dreamy chapter of TAP, where I speak with Linda Schiller—psychotherapist, author, and expert on the neurobiology of trauma and dreams. Plus she seems much of an eclectic such as myself, as she studied many fields within the healing work, (which we get to enjoy as listeners) We begin with the “sameness” of dreams and trauma. As Linda writes, “The past and the present become entangled and confused, much as in a dream state.” It is about reconnecting with our enlivened self, Linda explains as we go through what makes dreamwork such a unique path to healing and how it relates to active imagination- how working with dreams can resolve long-standing trauma.
 
We also talk about dream-memories after overcoming drug abuse, Linda Schillers PARDES system rooted in Kabbalah and the healing process called Memory Reconsolidation.
