The bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia had a divergent opinion on the case. While Justice Hemant Gupta upheld the ban on Hijab, Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia set aside the Karnataka High Court order upholding the Hijab ban.
