Angels in the Basement: The Great Reuniting with Your Own Soul

Deep within each one of us lie the treasures of unrealized potentialities, powers and creative gifts that have laid un-accessed in the basement of our unconscious. This book sets up to open the door to that basement and let these angels of our own soul come out, be recognized and integrated into you everyday human life.

While these aspects of our true nature are very real, there is a reason they have remained mostly unknown and not been accessed for most of our lives. The true tragedy of childhood trauma is that our experiences in which we were not love, not taken care of, not regarded as valuable, created a schism between us and our true nature or soul.

In short, because of some kind of deprivation in childhood, it became dangerous to simply be ourselves. Who you really were was not acceptable to your caregivers, the religious authorities, the schools and the culture at large. Problem is, you can't NOT be yourself. And so the process of denying yourself, your needs, your loves, your aspirations begins and manages to almost completely buy the very best parts of you. The angels get sent to the basement because it is not safe for them to be out and exposed.

As we grow and mature and desire more and more in our lives, we find that achieving those goals meets with unexpected obstacles. Because we have been alienated from our soul we don't realize why this is happening.

In this book it is my intention to show you exactly why it is happening and how to free yourself from it. This book is a mix of personal development. psychology and spirituality and is designed to show you, in very practical ways how to regain your soul, with all of its treasures, and find that playful freedom of a child. It contains explanations and simple exercies you can do to open the door of the basement, release those angels and experience the natural freedom that is your birthright.
