Mrutyunjayacha Aatmayadnya is an inspirational novel based on the biography of Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar( 28 May 1883 – 26 February 1966) was an Indian Independence activist, politician, writer and poet. Veer Savarkar developed the Hindu nationalist political ideology of Hindutva while imprisoned at Ratnagiri in 1922. He was a leader of Hindu Mahasabha. Veer Savarkar propagated the concept of Swadeshi as he was against foreign good. In 1905, he decided to burn all the foreign goods in a bonfire on the auspicious Dussehra day. Due to his revolt against the British Government, he got arrested in the year 1909 against the charges of conspiring an armed rebellion against the Britishers. He was convicted to two life sentences, implying 50 years in the cellular prison of Andaman and Nicobar Island, also known as Kala Pani punishment, in 1911.In the year 1924, the British Government released Veer Savarkar under stringent constraints of not participating in political activity for five years. Shubhangi Bhadbhade wrote the life story of Swatryantveer Savarkar which will inspire youngsters.
