Oh my god, this book is the first that I just haven't been able to finish because it is so bad! I didn't listen to the last 2-3 hours but I am sure I haven't missed anything. The book starts out quite well, the world of fairies is kinda intriguing. But then, the author just drags on the world building forever and the heroine progressively becomes stupider and somehow loses the best parts of her personality. We are left a predictable plot, a vanilla typical macho man hero, zero diversity in characters and a villian who's just the worst written villian of all time. To summarise, please give me my Saturday back SJM, UGH.
