Konkona's voice has doubled the impact of the heart touching revelation of Kadambari devi.

Love letter or a suicide note! A lady expressing her love when she decided to end her life. She could not have gathered courage to do so while living. It unearthed the contradiction in society that literate people i.e. Tagore clan were not educated as they blamed Kadambari for not being fertile and Kadambari being not so well read expressed in her letter, the duality of conception that Her husband could have been infertile.Any person who long for a feeling of being relevant in life, would fall for words of appreciation coming from anyone and it this case it came from Robi Thakor. The lady poured her heart with love and gratitude and Konkana's voice made us feel that relationship, which was both sinful and pious.Sinful as defined by human consciousness i.e. norms laid by patriarchal society and pious defined by trading life without love with death thinking that their souls would meet in heaven.

    Boring

Awfully presumptuous, spiced with juicy voyeuristic details about a relationship shrouded in respectful mystery. Melodramatic and tediously long. Konkona's narration was good but she can do little for this mediocre piece that barely qualifies as literature.

A poetic tragedy which is sad and beautiful at the same time. You would want to keep on listening to the memories shared by Kadombori devi and Robindro nath Tagore
