The main character luc in this book is just a selfish self centered prick who makes every little thing about himself Spoilers ahead Luc is having second thoughts about marriage as he’s been fighting with Oliver over the difference in the type of wedding they want and at the end is a literal hypocrite when Oliver has the same literally the same thoughts he had Another thing was the constant need for luc insecurity which is never address or worked on and his constant need to not say anything or not deal with the issue cause Oliver might break up with him is understandable but again no consequences things are not resolved just quickly swept under the rug He’s also a complete dick to all sorts of people, from acquaintances to shopkeeper I thought we were over this in the first book but nope Oliver can’t have feelings about his own identity that are just for him, they must be always be about luc

Nope, nope! Same problems as book 1. Same drama and angst. Oliver is going to therapy but Luc is the one who needs it more 😂 so damn annoyingly.
