    Thought-provoking

Please rope in artists for audiobooks who are at least a little acquainted with the culture or perhaps have the enthusiasm to do so. Listening to Tagore being pronounced as Tagoré is cringe moment for any Indian. The audiobook is replete with such glitches. A little homework won't hurt; people get Sartre and Neitzche right all the time. Here's hoping that the same effort is extended to other cultures as well. Thank You for the audiobook version of this incredible anthology.

Actually a good read but horribly fast audiobook. There are no pauses, no emphasis on specific words. Too fast.

    Unpredictable

Warm short stories of 70's immigrants in America. The bengali traits were both sweet and relatable. The voice artist had weird Indian accent put on for unknown reason and uncharacteristic music played in between of the stories which might make irritate listeners.

Such a way with the Words. Loved every story by Jhumpa. Characters have many layers and the attention to the little details is awesome. The narrative just flows and the pangs of melancholy float here and there
