Excellent book. The book tells about various communities settled in Cochin. Thair rituals business and marriage ceremonies. The narrator effort is appriciable when he sings the two or four lines of the respective community . Very informative book. Well researched book

Hats off to kochi king who accepted all these cultures

Migration history of Kochi has been from age's. Jewish settlement in Matanchery are known to everyone meanwhile there are many other community who have settled in Kochi.Like Kachi Menon,Naina,Luso Indians a subsect of Portuguese migrated people, Udupi Brahmins,kachi oswal community etc.This book gives details on their customs,practices and their cuisines.
