As a person who is passionate about puzzles and mysteries Dan Brown books and movies always had me hooked. Above all that his books were like a history lesson that we never signed up for. In "The lost symbol" that lesson is the Freemasonry organisation existing in America. However good or bad his books are Dan Brown has always made me Google and discover a lot of new things that I never knew existed. The close link of his plots to the real life might be the reason why I like his stories so much. The book was definitely a page turner for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this journey with Professor Robert Langdon

This is a decent novel but makes it more predictable. Blame it on Dan Brown himself. He has made us more aware in his previous books and we knew what is coming next. May be he should shunt between stories like this and the Digital Fortress
