    This is such a powerful commentary on mental illness and the so called role of women in a patriarchal society

    This was such a short & conflicting & terrifying read....I mean we can see a sane woman who is having post partum depression slowly growing mad then then completely insane by simply sitting & watching a yellow wallpaper in her room.It felt surreal & at the same time totally normal. The way her mind grew wary of her life & surroundings that she found a wallpaper to be more interesting & mysterious. The need for human company & support is primal for us, else i guess this will be our path too

    An undeniable classic text of feminist literature which upon every reading, you unearth new, hidden meanings and interpretations. Perkins Gilman was a genius unto herself. The language is strewn with so much irony, holding the candle of truth to patriarchy.
