We have all fallen prey to the cunning tongue of the enemy, Eve being the most famed example. The enemy has a way of intermingling truth and lies in such a seamless manner that we are often unaware of being deceived!

A popular Turkish proverb states, “The trees kept voting for the ax because its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them” (Lewis MP, 2019). This is how the enemy operates. He dresses lies with half-truths to catch us off guard.

It is vital to be aware of the devices that the enemy uses to deceive and distort our identity. More, now than ever, we need to be spiritually aware of the schemes of the enemy.

The knowledge of God’s word is the only way we are able to ward off the lies of the enemy and live a God-appointed life filled with His truths, both of the world and of you.

I truly believe that God wishes to equip His children with the necessary tools to ward off the enemy's evil will for our lives, which He enters and brings to fruition in one place: Our minds.
