An Adventure

An Adventure recounts the strange and mysterious experiences of two women, Eleanor Jourdain and C. A. E. Moberly, during a visit to the gardens of Versailles. As they walk through the grounds, they encounter what appears to be a time slip, witnessing scenes from the past, including figures dressed in 18th-century clothing. The book details their unsettling experience and explores the possible explanations for this supernatural encounter. Part memoir, part historical mystery, An Adventure is a fascinating and eerie exploration of the unexplained, leaving readers questioning the boundaries of time and reality.
