This is an introduction to the Kikuyu language (sometimes referred to as Gikuyu or Mukuyu) as spoken in central Kenya by the Kikuyu people. This Bantu group live in the Mount Kenya region of Kenya and has approximately 8 million members making it the largest ethnic group in Kenya.
