A place and time of true idyllic societal living conditions. Thanks to the discovery of new emission-free nuclear energy generated from the PowerPlants that now span the globe. As well as breakthroughs in medicine with the creation of a new miracle drug, Chembal. Life in 2055 is truly the closest humanity has ever come to a utopia.

So why does David Nash feel so displaced? David never felt like he quite fit in with the people around him. Now, at the age of 29, David is at a crossroads. He can feel his ChemBal prescription is not having quite the same effect it once did, and his safe life suddenly feels more empty than safe.
