RecoveryMind Training: A Neuroscientific Approach to Treating Addiction

Author has been an addiction medicine physician for over thirty years and has been affiliated with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) for nearly two decades. He has held a variety of leadership positions within that organization. Complex concepts are articulated in detailed, yet user-friendly fashion consistent with the educational/reading level of the intended audience. He is the author of numerous books and articles on addiction and its treatment, including The Cocaine Recovery Book. He has contributed to the ASAM textbook, Principles of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Earley’s work was featured in the documentary series on addiction titled, Close to Home by Bill Moyers. He also appeared twice on the Oprah Winfrey show to discuss addiction and recovery. The author is a dynamic speaker and educator. He speaks and trains on topics of addiction, its treatment, as well as addiction among healthcare professionals.
