In the big picture, we may believe that everyone that we work with "has our back". However, the sad reality of life is that this is not the case. We need to have the skills and awareness to be looking out for people who want to sabotage our careers. However, we're going to need to be prepared to roll with the punches if the company decides to reorganize and we get put into a different position.
